The Shed Zone provides handmade Amish storage sheds to Glen Allen, VA, and the surrounding metro Richmond area. Whether you’re adjusting one of our pre-built designs or creating your own from the floor up, we build our sheds to last. Our custom shed builders can adjust the color, stain, size, window and door placement, and more.
All custom-built Amish storage sheds and buildings come standard with:
- ¾ LP flooring – This non-plywood flooring is termite, moisture, and fungal resistant
- LP Silver Radiant Barrier insulation
- Ridge vent – Combined with the above, this keeps building temperature 30% cooler in warm weather
- Metal treadplates
- Felt paper beneath 30-year dimensional shingles
- Highest quality woodcuts
- Double top plates
- Pressure-treated floor
- Floor joists in either 8” or 16” ONC. – Industry-standard is typically 24”, so this gives our flooring superior support
